Snow in the Mountains!

Last week, we had a LOT of rain in Tucson.. which meant the first big snowfall in the mountains! It was SOOOO pretty, and cool to look at. AND it was JUST where I like it -- where I can see it, but don't have to walk in it, drive in it or brush it off of my car! :)

There is only a little bit left this week, but I'm hoping it will be back soon! :)

Holidays!

OK, OK I know they were awhile ago -- but I'm just finally getting to blog about it. Have I mentioned that I gave up my plan to teach another class the rest of the year? It has been insane.

For the holidays, I spent 5 days in Naples, Florida where Megan was living. We all met up (parents included) to spend a few days together.

Something that worked out nicely - someone that Megan worked with in FL needed a dog sitter (he had a brown lab and cat) - so we ended up staying at his amazing condo watching his pets! The dogs name was Gus, and he was VERY cute and easy to love.

Every night, Mom and I would take Gus for a walk - and of course admire all of the Christmas decorations that were up.

We also spent a lot of time at going out for happy hours, appetizers and deserts :)
